Online, And It Works

Can online tutoring really work?

Surprisingly, yes. I keep sessions fun, fresh, and moving, from early readers finding their footing to teens building stronger writing and fluency. My approach translates well to a screen because it's built on engagement, not worksheets. What makes a session work isn't the room you're sitting in, it's the connection between tutor and student, and that comes through screens just fine when the approach is right.

Questions Parents Ask

Online tutoring, answered honestly

What do we need on our end?

Just a computer or tablet with a camera and a stable internet connection. No special software or accounts required beyond a simple video call.

Do you work with families outside of New Mexico?

Yes. Online sessions work with families anywhere in the US, across any time zone. I'm based in Santa Fe, NM, and online tutoring isn't limited by location.

How long are sessions, and how often do we meet?

This depends on your child's needs and gets worked out together, but consistency matters more than length. Regular, shorter sessions tend to outperform occasional long ones.

What ages and grade levels do you work with?

A full range, from early readers just starting out to teenagers building stronger writing and fluency.
